How we teach

All of our teachers are experienced and qualified and use a mixture of authentic and original materials together with published courses. more

We place equal emphasis on the four language skills: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking - and each class is taught by a team of three or four teachers, each one responsible for a different language skill

Exeter Academy has a special teaching system, the Multi-level multi-skill system, which allows each student to be in the most suitable class for: 'Grammar', 'Speaking and listening' and 'Reading writing and vocabulary'.

Students can be at different levels for any of these skills; e.g. level 2 grammar and writing, level 1 speaking.

Exeter has fantastic facilities: Princesshay is a new shopping and leisure development in Exeter,there are brilliant sports grounds and Exeter Cathedral is one of the best in the UK.
